All right, I figure the least I can do is start this forum off by telling you what *I* am reading now. Jingo is a Terry Pratchett book set in Discworld (of course) that takes a satirical poke at the war-mongering instincts of our real world. I haven't finished it yet, but I can confidently recommend the book as I do with all of his written work. Everything Discworld is worth reading and can technically be done so without any respect to order, however, I strongly recommend starting with The Colour of Magic, as it sets up the Discworld universe and fan favorite, Rincewind. I use the wikipedia entry for reading order.
Yes there are quite a number of books, and all very enjoyable.
So far I just finished "Men at Arms" a little while ago before I took a break from Discworld.
